“It was truly a private tour which was really great! We enjoyed seeing Jade Caverns (didn’t swim due to the bat poop that you would expect in the water). We opted not to go to the beach as we were running out of time. We also did the tequila tasting before lunch which we didn’t like. It was going on 2:30 at this point. We enjoyed the ATV ride, the course and going through the “jungle” was a ton of fun! Carlos Ceballos was our guide and he was great!”

“The ATV was not great, it was just on a dusty path to the cavern that was a bat cave with rotting egg smelling water (bogg) that looked disgusting, I’m sure filled with bat poop. The lunch and snorkeling were great, definitely was happy that was part of the excursion because the first part was not impressive. The employees did work hard to make it a fun excursion though, very kind. You do have to purchase goggles $5 and a bandana for $5 each so the cost just kept increasing as the day went on. “For starters, they started our group very late, even though we arrived on time. The driver walked the entire group about 1/2 up the road from where we all had passed to get to the meeting spot! That was stupid….why not just have everyone meet at the take off location? Next, We paid for single rides but was forced to share the ATVs. Several of them were very unsafe. “Fantastic experience! It was raining all day so we thought it wouldn’t be all that fun and unable to see much. Boy were we wrong. This will be an activity we will definitely do again! Cenote is beautiful! Sad we didn’t get to go thru the cave but the rain flooded it so not their fault. Staff were very helpful. I would recommend using a shuttle service there especially in the rain, none of the streets after the highway are marked, no signs telling you which way to go, and the road has lots of pot holes.”
